This conceptual poster series was created for the 2024–2025 Goff Lecture Series at the University of Oklahoma’s Gibbs College of Architecture. Using experimental typography as a tool for spatial exploration, each poster is reimagined not only as an event announcement but also as a typographic study that reflects the bold thinking found in architectural discourse.

TYPOGRAPHY POSTERS
CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The challenge was to move beyond legibility-focused design and instead use type to provoke and engage. Through techniques like distortion, layering, and spatial tension, typography is treated as image—creating posters that echo the complexity and abstraction found in architecture itself. Each exploration invites viewers to pause and interpret, transforming standard information into immersive visual experiences aligned with the spirit of the lecture series.
